		<description>Recently some important changes have been made by the Village of Lansing Building Department.  Inspections:You must call the building department by 3:00p.m. the day prior to your inspection, it will then be completed between 7:00a.m. and 11:00a.m. the next day. In addition three copies of a spot survey are required after a foundation is poured. Inspections will be completed on Monday, Wednesday and Friday for; footings and foundations, slabs, rough framing, backfill and drainage, insulation and fire stopping and building final inspections. Inspections will be completed on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday for; post holes, plumbing, concrete pre-pour, HVAC and electrical.    Fees and documents:       Construction that requires documents and blueprints now includes; residential additions, residential new construction, all commercial projects, decks, porches, wheel chair lifts and ramps and any other project deemed necessary by the building commissioner....</description>

		<description>The Lansing Illinois Knights of Columbus Chapter 3540 will host its annual Cheeseburger in Paradise Party from 6 pm until midnight on Saturday, August 19th at the Lansing Knights of Columbus grounds located at 178th Street and Lorenz Avenue, one block west of Burnham Avenue.All-you-can-eat cheeseburgers and chips will be served from 6pm until 10pm and there will be a cash bar open. Entertainment includes live music and dancing.
